History

This is not only a tire mounting kit; it is also a tailgate reinforcement kit.  It comes with the following parts: cast aluminum HD hinged reinforcement plate, adjustable tire mount, brake light mount, protective gaskets, installation instructions, tailgate mounted base plate, wheel studs, spacers, all mounting hardware.

When you need to relocate not only your tire bracket but also your stock brake light, then this kit is the one you need.  It is an all-inclusive kit containing everything you need to accomplish both of these goals.  At a price of $75 it really can’t be beat.

This kit, unlike the one mentioned before is not all-inclusive.  It is recommended that you use the Tire Reinforcement Kit in conjunction with this.  This one does include the cast aluminum hinged carrier, mounting hardware, spacers and installation instructions.

This kit is made for those of you who want to reinforce the stock spare tire carrier.  It includes the tailgate mounted base plate, wheel studs, spacers, hardware, adjustable tire mount, brake light mount, gaskets and installation instructions.  It is moderately priced for you at $200.
